| Historic | These are photos from before the 1990's to show how the rivers use to look. | ||
| 1995 | These photos are taken on or around the time of the Dec 1995 Flood. | The flood peaked around 9am on 14 DEC 95. Alexandra had clear blue skies during the flooding. Manuherikia River had a record flow of 600 cumsecs while the Clutha River peaked at 2700. | |
| 1999 | These photos are taken on or around the time of the Nov 1999 Flood. | The flood peaked around midnight on 17 Nov 99. Alexandra had inclement weather over the flooding period. Manuherikia River had a flow of 100 cumsecs while the Clutha River had its second highest recorded flow of 3700. | |
| Recent | These photos have been taken since 1990 during normal river flows. | ||
